SOM Research Administrators Meeting(RAM): (email: som_ram@virginia.edu)-This is a monthly (second Thursday of every month) SOM-wide forum were SOMOGC senior administration, SOMOGC Grant Administrators, and SOM Department Research Administrators meet to discuss and disseminate relevant SOM grants and contracts-related information. At most meetings there are often multiple guest speakers from different areas of the university (e.g., OSP, Procurement, and Finance) that present on various current policies, policy updates, and best practices. Community of Research Administrators(CoRA):(email:cora@virginia.edu)–This is a monthly, University-wide forum where research administrators from every school within UVA meet to discuss various topics and issues that affect UVA's research enterprise. There are often guest speakers from across various university functions who present on their areas of expertise. Please contact Carey Reinicke (cr9dh@virginia.edu)to be added to this group.
