Meetings and Conferences

• NCURA (National Council of University Research Administrators)
  • PRA and FRA conferences annually in March
  • National Conference annually in August
• SRAI (Society of Research Administrators International
  • Virginia Chapter Meeting Annual in June
  • National Meeting annually in October

Certification

RACC (Research Administration Certification Council) Oversees the three following certifications.
The university hosts an annual study group to assist in preparation of taking the exams.

• Certified Research Administrator(CRA)
• Certified Pre Award Research Administator (CPRA)
• Certified Financial Research Administrator (CFRA)

Council on Government Relations (COGR)

An Association of Research Universities and Affiliated Medical Centers and Independent Research Institutes

Federal Demonstration Partnership (FDP)

The FDP is a unique forum for individuals from universities and nonprofits to work collaboratively with federal agency officials to improve the national research enterprise
