Description: This funding opportunity establishes an accelerated review and award process to support time-sensitive research to evaluate a new policy or program that is likely to influence diet, physical activity, sleep, and/or weight and thus has the potential to lower rates of chronic diseases, particularly in populations at risk for health disparities. The intention of this award is to support research where opportunities for empirical study are only available through expedited review and funding.
