Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) Education Series

The University of Virginia School of Medicine Clinical Trials Office (SOM CTO) offers training and education focusing on the various aspects of clinical trials. This education is designed to keep CRCs and other research team members abreast of current clinical research processes, conduct of clinical trials and ethics surrounding human subject research. The series is offered over the course of a year and links for viewing the live sessions are offered if in person attendance is not possible. The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) Education Series organized by the SOM CTO is approved for contact hours through the UVA School of Medicine (ACCME accredited) and the UVA School of Nursing Continuing Education (ANCC accredited). The education series helps coordinators maintain the education hours they need to maintain their CRC or CRA certification.
