The UVA Licensing & Ventures Group (LVG) is the commercialization arm of the University responsible for managing the intellectual property portfolio of the UVA research enterprise. Reporting to the UVA Office of the Vice President for Research, LVG's mission is to maximize the impact of UVA's innovation assets via commercialization, while providing high levels of customer service, value-added business development, new venture creation, and a focus on driving quality transactions. LVG's team consists of licensing, legal, and business professionals to support UVA research faculty, staff, and students at the intersection of science and industry.
