Phlebotomy
Phlebotomy services are available on a fee-for-service basis through the Medical Center Clinical Laboratories. Unless the specimen is being sent to the Medical Center Clinical Laboratories for testing, the phlebotomists will not accept responsibility for specimen processing or transport. The cost of this service should be included in the planning of the study budget. Please coordinate plans for your research protocol by communicating with the phlebotomy manager early in your study start-up process. Investigators who choose to do their own phlebotomy in non-patient care areas must register with the Institutional Biosafety Committee. Phlebotomy services are offered at the following locations:
