SHUTi CARE

The long-term goal of this research is to improve the quality and impact of digital health interventions for caregivers, while reducing intervention development inefficiency – a goal identified as a high priority for current caregiver research. Towards that aim, the overall objective of this study is to determine what tailoring is necessary and sufficient to achieve optimal engagement with and efficacy of SHUTi for caregivers. Sample: 100 high-intensity family caregivers with clinically significant insomnia symptoms Assessments: Baseline: Prior to receiving SHUTi, participants completed questionnaires and 10 sleep diaries Post-Assessment: At the conclusion of the 9-week intervention period - Non-users completed a brief set of questionnaires - Users completed questionnaires and 10 sleep diaries This page contains the publicly-available quantitative data dictionary and private row-level datasets. We may make full row-level data available to researchers under a data use agreement that provides for: (1) a commitment to using the data only for research purposes and not to identify any individual participant; (2) a commitment to securing the data using appropriate computer technology. Terms of data sharing will be customized for each future data use agreement executed and will include the minimal set of identifiers and data required for that particular research. If interested in obtaining the row level data, contact the study PI, Kelly Shaffer, by email at: kshaffer [at] virginia [dot] edu.
